Anna Marie Harper of Forsyth, 64, passed away on April 2, 2026. She was born on September 15, 1961, in Mobridge, South Dakota, to Jessie and Ruby (Hicks) Jordan. Anna grew up and later attended high school in Wichita, Kansas. On July 20, 1996, she married Kenny Harper in Wichita, Kansas and they shared many years of marriage and raised four daughters. Together they built a life filled with love, family, and simple joys.
Anna spent ten years in Forsyth, Missouri, having previously lived in Alpena, Arkansas. She was a woman of faith and found happiness in life’s quiet pleasures. She loved sewing, coloring, and fishing, activities that expressed her creativity, patience, and appreciation for peaceful moments. She carried a deep care and love of all those around her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kenny Harper of Forsyth, Missouri; her mother, Ruby Berens of Selby, South Dakota; and her daughters: Amanda Ayesh (Jeff) of Wichita, Kansas; Angela Cardinal (Lee) of Green Forest, Arkansas; Serena Young of Wichita, Kansas and Ruby Young of Berryville, Arkansas. She is also survived by her sisters: Loretta Hough, Jesse Mudge, Tammy Jordan, Melissa Glerup, and Gale Roelfs, along with 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Anna was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Jordan.
Anna will be remembered for her kind heart, her devotion to her family, her quirky fun and the warmth she brought to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held for Anna Harper at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel in Forsyth, Missouri.
