Alvin E. Hall, 75, of Rockaway Beach, Mo. entered into rest May 24, 2024, with his family close. Mr. Hall was born on Sept. 22, 1948, in Ft. Scott, KS. He was the son of Alvin and Dorothy (Crane) Hall.
He moved to the Rockaway Beach area from Topeka, Kansas area. He served his county in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Alvin was immensely proud of his service. When he returned to the states, he received his LPN Nursing license and worked with children in the pediatrics home health care division.
Alvin “Big Al” enjoyed to fish, polish rocks, and leather work. He made beautiful billfolds, purses, belts, and book covers, to mention a few items; he was quite artistic. Alvin was a dog lover during his life having owned many and leaving one to mourn him is Melody Blue.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Estella.
Alvin is survived by his daughter Brandi Rivera (David) of Rockaway Beach; one brother Don Hall (Julie) of Holton, KS; two sisters Anna Mae Bresler (Leon) of Cabool, MO; Carol Bryant (Wade) of Big Timber, MT; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 21, 9:00 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO. Full military rites will be provided by the Veterans of the Ozarks. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth.
