Alma M. Jennings

Funeral service for Alma M. Jennings, 80, Protem, will be held 11am Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, at Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo.  Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, from 10:00 am till service time. Bro. Danny Call and Bro. Jason Jackson will officiate and Kevin Jennings will offer closing remarks with burial following at the Protem Cemetery, Protem. Alma Marie Jennings went to be with her Lord on Sunday July 27, 2025, with her loving family around her.

Alma was born in Jasper, Missouri, the daughter of William C. and Vica M. (Goodwin) Oliver. She married Billy “B.F.” Jennings on Jan. 20, 1963 in Ocie, Mo.  Alma had worked at the American Cat Fanciers’ Association, the garment factory, Wal-Mart, and was a teachers’ aid at the Mark Twain School. She was a member of the Protem Pentecostal Church. 

Alma is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Kevin & Tera Jennings, Amiel & Cindy Jennings all of Protem, Karen & Larry Huffman of Theodosia;  grandchildren Heath Jennings, Tyler Jennings, Alisha & Jon Graetz, Dustin & Coleena Huffman; great grandchildren Conrad Graetz, Shannessy Huffman, JohnDavid Ortiz, Isaiah & Caitlyn Chavez; great great grandchildren Raelynn, Watsyn and Holstyn Chavez; siblings Thomas Oliver of Springfield, Cora Cron of Mt. Grove, Ark., Janice Hicks and Linda Sissney both of Okla., and Lydia Stapp of Republic.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy “B.F.” Jennings, and five siblings Marion Oliver, William Oliver, Virgie Boyd, Edith Campfield and Eunice Romine.
