Alice Marie Williams

Mrs. Alice Marie Williams entered rest on Oct. 27, 2023, at Protem, Mo.   Services will be held on Thursday Nov. 2, 2023, at 2PM Protem Pentecostal Church, Protem. Rev. Daniel W. Morton will officiate.  Cremation was under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo.

Alice Marie Williams, 63, Protem Mo.   She was born June 18, 1960, in St.  Augustine, Fla.  Marie was the daughter of Allen and Nina (Wright) Shope.  She was a cook for different restaurants wherever she might live.   Marie enjoyed going to the Baptist Church when she was able.    She was a creative person; and liked to make dry flower arrangements. Marie enjoyed playing pool, loved the outdoors and camping.   

She was preceded in death by her parents and many loved ones including, daughter Tabitha Jones, brother Barney Giddens, sister Juanita Tyer.

Marie is survived by her children Clovis Jones and Ronald Williams II both of Kissee Mills, Mo., and Amy Jones-Workman of Protem; two brothers Buddy Giddens and John Giddens both of Groveland, Fla.; and three grandchildren who she loved dearly.
